Air source heat pump installations are fully funded — both the equipment and the installation — so they don't cost the property owner or tenant a penny. There are no contributions and no admin fees.
How does an air source heat pump work?
The air source heat pump absorbs heat from the outside air and converts this into a liquid refrigerant at a low temperature. Using electricity, the pump compresses the liquid to increase its temperature. It then condenses back into liquid to release stored heat. Heat is sent to your radiators, water storage tank or underfloor heating.
