Do I qualify for a first time central heating grant?
If you currently do not have any central heating, or use an alternative fuel to heat your property, you likely qualify for a first time central heating grant.
You need to have a mains gas connection which was installed prior to 1st April 2022. If not, you can apply for electric storage heaters or an air source heat pump.

- Solid fossil fuel fire with back boiler.
- Electric underfloor or ceiling heating
- Bottled LPG room heating.
- Solid fossil fuel room heaters.
- Wood/biomass room heating.
- Oil room heaters.
- No heating in place.
